Savannah Gardner
Savannah Gardner has a loyal fanbase in London that follows her from Blues Bars to Honky Tonk Dives, to Cabaret Night Clubs to Country Music listening rooms. She even sings Standards in a full blown Jazz band from time to time. In all these different pockets of music, Savannah somehow fits right in. Her genre-bending original music and bewitching performance can have the whole room dancing the night away or pulling out the tissues for a cry. She is not just a songwriter, but a show-woman bending the Country Music genre to her mighty will and giving her whole self to her audience, no matter how big or small the room. Her love of the theatre and old cabaret shows only adds to her dramatic story telling and passion on the stage.
Savannah was raised in California by her English parents and was heavily influenced by their record collection of everything from Elvis Presley & Johnny Cash to big female voices like Shirley Bassey, Patsy Cline & Judy Garland. She started her troubadour journey in the venues and clubs of Los Angeles at 19 and eventually followed her parents back to England where she has been for the past seven years. Her London based band “Savannah Gardner & The Recovering Good Girls” is selling out venues all over the UK with their energetic and theatrical show.
